Going for promotion, trying new things, having the confidence to aim high. To me these are all things showing ambition.
Am I ambitious? There’s something in the word ambitious that I detest. It’s the ambition that stops people looking after each other and supporting others. If the ambition can be achieved with love and support of others then I’m there with you but if not, then you can keep your ambition, I want none of it.
I’m not the most adventurous by way of treks and jumping into life these days, I had adventurous dreams when I didn’t know any better. If I hadn’t listened to some older souls who, later, said they must have been in their low periods, I might have given life more of an adventurous slant. Learn from me.. don’t listen to others.. hmm.. If you’re thinking of doing something adventurous do. Enjoy it and tell me about it later because I’m ok with my less adventurous route these days but love hearing about what others get up to.

During his last expedition he lost his best friend and was now back to find answers.
ps Lulling you into a false sense of security.. they’re not all this short.. Watch out for c, I used up some of my words there instead of here..

Lynne’s AtoZ blogging challenge theme in case you couldn’t tell:
Linked to thoughts of emotions and behaviours, my theme is ‘I feel….’. Writers among you will be familiar with the phrase show don’t tell, for others it’s what every novelist tries to do. Authors want to show you the emotion and behaviour without telling you it. Trying to practice showing not telling, I have included an example in each post. I may have got it right, I may not have. Please let me know.
Here’s who else is doing the AtoZblogging challenge.
