Veg beginning with F.. I took myself shopping to find something. You nearly got a sketch of my foot.
I went into the shop this morning looking for figs, they had none and then I saw some fennel. Colleagues wondered what I was doing with fennel on the table as I did a quick sketch during my lunch break. I’ve never used fennel in cooking, which is dreadful admission as I have it growing on my patio.
Fennel isn’t something I’m used to cooking with. Anyone got any tips? How do you cook it?
