I was wondering about sketching horseradish but there’s just huge leaves showing when they’re out and they’re just beginning to show through the ground. I did try digging it up one year but soon realised it was futile.
Each year I get hyacinths in my house and then they have to take their chance in the garden. Lots of birds seem to like tossing them around. This year blue, pink and lilac ones managed to survive so I thought I’d capture their image, or an essence of their image for you.
Then I completely forgot I was going to sketch the hyacinths for today, sorry. Instead, I saw some hot peppers when foraging in my local supermarket for veggies to sketch. Hot chilli peppers it is. Scotch bonnet if you want to know which. I did a mini risk assessment and kept them in the packet while sketching them. Now got to find someone who might use them as, although I like chilli, these days I’m not good at too much heat in my food.

My AtoZ Blogging Challenge is all about err, I had every post topic then I changed my mind. This year I have no official theme, however, I do seem to be sketching vegetables quickly.
Even if you’ve not enjoyed reading this post, why not see what others are doing too during 2016 AtoZ Blogging challenge. I look forward to seeing you back here tomorrow though I have little idea of what it will say.
Lovely! I like that you changed to suit your mood and life.

Love that you had every thing planned, and you are not afraid to change it up and just go with whatever suits you in the moment 🙂

It’s not working for you then do what is. I trust my instincts. Or try to. thanks for popping by.
Very pretty!
Thank you! Quite amazing how pretty some vegetables can look.
I’ve changed many of my posts around so far, and I have a theme (though sometimes I do head off road so to speak, LOL). Those are great sketches. I can draw stick figures, and that’s about it. So I truly enjoy seeing the work of the those who have the talent to draw, sketch, paint, etc. Great work! What will you find to draw at the grocery store this week? 🙂
I believe everyone can draw. You just need a few basic bits of knowledge and lots of practice. A pencil helps. Many thanks for your comments. glad you like my sketches. It was AtoZ that got me sketching more and more like this. I ended up raiding a friends fridge for one of the weeks coming along.
So pleased I found you again, Lynne as I loved your sketches last year for the Challenge and this year’s ones are delightful too 🙂

Thanks Pempi. I registered a bit late so got caught up in the later hundreds. Glad you like the sketches. I am enjoying sketching vegetables, as bizarre as that sounds.. Struggling to visit back as my little computer got a bit slow this month. Not quite the AtoZ I’d hoped for but when is it ever?
