Peterborough Cathedral has one of the few remaining wooden painted medieval ceilings. I could talk forever about it but will let you ponder this illustration instead and make your way around more AtoZ blogs. If you’re in the neighbourhood anytime do remember to say hello to this wonderful ceiling.
Peterborough, UK, is celebrating 900 years of the current Peterborough Cathedral building which is my 2018 A-Z theme. Rather than give you lots of information which you can get from the website, books or by visiting and having a wonderful guided tour I’ve provided a list of topics and an illustration of one of them.

Many thanks. I had to use different paint than I usually do so I’m not as happy with the finish. Loved it when it was pencil only. Need to find my preferred palette before I finish todays illustration.
