T’s linked to Peterborough Cathedral: tombs; tapestries; towers; tracery; transept; Thomas Beckett.
From the South Transept looking to the North Transept you can see some wonderful stained glass windows and maybe spot some people on a tower tour.
Peterborough, UK, is celebrating 900 years of the current Peterborough Cathedral building which is my 2018 A-Z theme. Rather than give you lots of information which you can get from the website, books or by visiting and having a wonderful guided tour I’ve provided a list of topics and an illustration of one of them.

Love your artwork Lynne. As I live in Australia anything 900 years old would not be man made. Isn’t wonderful that the Cathedral is still there. I am a great believer in preserving the natural and man made in our world.
Thanks Sue,
It’s wonderful living near such an inspiring building, though my memories of my one visit to Australia are full of amazing landscapes.
Yes we have so much natural beauty here.
