Who knows who each of us are or what we are about? Here’s a few bits of me…
age: 51
status: single (yes throw those cliche’s, no cat though.. yet…)
work: In environmental sector. Don’t blog about it.
Worked mainly in nature conservation all my life but could just as easily have done many other things. Love designing; Gardening (wildly); painting (shadow flowers); writing (2draft novels, non published yet..).
I’ve lived in Cheshire; London; Northumberland; Yorkshire; Glasgow; Cumbria and now Peterborough… I know.. don’t ask..
I hope you enjoy my writing, that I keep enjoying writing and that we might get to know each other a little.
Please treat me gently.
Hi Lynne, you know how much I like your blog! Sorry I missed #eurovision yesterday, I had had a very bad day with bad news on our house move and I just went to bed. SIGH. Anyway, I think your blog is fab and I’ve tagged you for a Versatile Blogger Award! I don’t know if that’s your thing but I thought I’d award you anyway!! 🙂 http://wp.me/p1HzVM-nQ
WOW.. thanks Nicky, I’ve not ignored this. Just not sure how to accept versatile blogger award.. I’m so new to blogging and very honoured you’ve tagged me. Not sure I follow enough blogs to pass it on.. need to ponder a while.. *pondering*
Ponder away! The first time I got one of these, it sent me into a complete tailspin. That’s NOT the idea. The idea is to have a bit of fun and get to meet lots of new bloggers. So take your time until you’re ready. 15 is a lot, but five will do. When you’re ready, write your post and then either alert your nominees via Twitter or leave them a comment on your blog. It’s actually not as scary as it seems…. XXX

Yes.. Me completely open, bar the things I’m not open about..
I like the style of your bio, and the fact that you have some life experience … and lived in just about every corner of our fair land.
Thanks Tom
Completely forgot to list Southport.. and the second stint in Northumberland between Cumbria and Peterborough. Yes I have some life experience.. Can’t believe how quick older age creeps up on us. Thanks for reading and commenting on my AtoZ post.
Hi Lynne – met you today on bemuzim’s blog hop thingy. I’ve moved a lot, too. Funny, I may have to move again if I’m to retire in one of my dream towns: Peterborough! (Canada)

I have nominated you for The Versatile Bloggers Award. Information about this award can be found at http://pluckingofmyheartstrings.com/2014/06/25/another-versatile-bloggers-award/
Hi Lynne, I am the chap behind Yarecycle. You aren’t becoming an illustrator, you are an artist without doubt. I like you view on your chosen subjects. Do you use Flickr.com at all? You can see some of my stuff there. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnome-service/sets/72157623775704712/
I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Hi Lynne… just checking you’re okay, as you signed up for 2023 but no posts. Fingers crossed things are okay with you, and you just changed your mind.
Jemima
Hi Jemima, I was weary, didn’t manage to get the illustrations finished that I was going to write about then got covid. Enough said. I’m recovering and still determined to get the 2023 A-Z done, maybe a month or two late.. Thanks for checking in.
Good to know you’re on the mend. I got arthritis in my hands, and tendonitis in my wrists but fortunately was more than halfway through my blog posts. Then other things started hurting too. Then this week I had an adverse reaction to ibuprofen, so I’m nearing the end of my first 24 hours without painkillers. Onwards….
Hope you recover fully in time for the nice weather 🙂
